Coventry City Council Highways Framework , we were appointed to undertake the Council House Square Public Realm redevelopment.

The works consisted of replacing the dilapidated paving with new natural stone flags and setts, realigning the highway and all associated street furniture installation.

Careful consideration had to be given to existing services due to the road realignment element of the scheme.

We were in constant dialogue with statutory undertakers to ensure serviced diversions were undertaken in a timely manner, avoiding programme delays.

Robust traffic management plans for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic were required.

Our Stakeholder Liaison Officer kept all stakeholders informed of key milestones throughout scheme delivery, via letter drops, phone calls and displayed on notice boards around site.

Our phased approach to the works minimised disruption and increased productivity, and we were able to work around local businesses, conducting shop frontage works out of hours.

All works were undertaken by our directly employed personnel in a safe, efficient manner, to a high quality standard.
