Derbyshire Brain Game 2016

WDerbyshire-Brain-Games-Edit-2-For-Webhitehouse came up against some of Derbyshire’s finest minds at the Derbyshire Brain Game 2016 held at the beautifully decorated Roundhouse in Derby.

The event, with guest speaker Edwina Currie, consisted of a three-course meal, auction, raffle and an extremely challenging quiz all in aid of Marie Curie.

The team excelled in the sport and geography rounds, however falling short in the food category which left the team with a mountain to climb to be at the summit of the leader board.

Other notable guests of the evening included Derbyshire County Cricket star Wayne Madsen and BBC East Midlands journalist James Roberson who delivered numerous rounds of questions.

Whitehouse director Rob Ewart-Sear said: “It is always great to support such wonderful charities like Marie Curie, especially at such a joyful and entertaining event. We can’t wait to go back next year”.

As well as the Whitehouse team, members of Marie Curie also had a night to remember and sent Whitehouse a message saying: “thanks for your support and joining us for an enjoyable evening!”.
