Traditional airbrick protection took the form of a simple cover in conjunction with mechanical fixtures for individual manual deployment. This time consuming process required the homeowner to be present prior to the flooding event which caused inherent problems. Recently, a more sophisticated passive system has been developed which replaces your existing airbricks offering permanent flood protection once fitted by our installation teams.
Whitehouse has been installing Automatic Airbricks across the UK since their launch into the property level flood mitigation market. The airbricks we install operates a buoyancy system which automatically deploys during a flooding event preventing water ingress. In order to minimise the visual impact of these airbricks they can be manufactured in a range of sympathetic colours.
