Whitehouse have recently sponsored a ground breaking canoeing and kayaking expedition tailor made for disabled Service personnel which has taken place on the fast flowing mountain rivers of Bavaria.
Help for Heroes (H4H) is a British Charity launched in September 2007 to help provide better facilities for wounded British servicemen and women in the present conflicts.
H4H provides support through a rehabilitation and funds the new Adaptive Adventure Training Team, based at Headley Court in Surrey. 'Timmy's Paddle' is the first overseas expedition under the new 'Battle Back' banner, a British military initiative recently launched to improve the scope of such training in the aftercare of seriously injured personnel and aid their return to an active life.

Whitehouse some months ago offered some financial sponsorship to HELP FOR HEROES and this resulted in Whitehouse sponsoring transport costs to Timmy's Paddle without which the expedition would not have gone ahead.

Whitehouse Chairman Brell Ewart said:
"In civil engineering we have hard conditions at times, but these pale into insignificance compared with those that our British Service personnel face. We are humbled by the work they do in fighting for the freedoms we here in the West enjoy. We are therefore proud to have been able to support TIMMY'S PADDLE EXERCISE additionally so knowing that it would not have proceeded without our help. This week we received a shirt signed by all those who took part in TIMMY'S PADDLE. A few photos are attached of this. We intend to have this framed and it will have pride of place in our company HQ and we look forward to continuing our support for HELP FOR HEROES on their next endeavour"
