 Whitehouse, are amongst the major national winners in this year's Green Apple Environmental awards. The awards are organised by the Green Organisation, an independent, non profit international environmental group dedicated to recognising and rewarding global environmental best practice.
Whitehouse fought off stiff national competition from over 500 other companies in the UK to win the award for their innovative "Environmental Culture Initiative", this involving education and training for all Whitehouse personnel.
The prestigious award was presented to the Chairman Brell Ewart and Ross Ward the SHEQ Manager on behalf of the team at Whitehouse on November 17th at the House of Commons, London.
Company Chairman Brell Ewart said
"Almost all our company activities impact in some way on the environment and so the company has over the last few years, initiated training, development, and construction techniques to protect the environment. For a number of years the company has held Environmental Quality Assurance Certification and this award indicates the company's continued development is at the forefront in the UK Construction ."
