Lafarge Reward Whitehouse Site Construction Team for Exemplary Safety RecordThe Whitehouse site team on the £2.5M Hope Cement Works Rail Terminal Contract has won the Lafarge Safety Awards at their Hope Site. With many contractors working on the major construction project currently on going Lafarge introduced the awards to further develop safety awareness, innovations, and excellence. The Whitehouse team comprising of over 30 men throughout the project won through fierce competition and scrutiny.
Steve Mckeown Whitehouse Managing Director and Director of Safety said, "This achievement is another indicator of the commitment that every single person at Whitehouse gives to safety. We are delighted to have won the awards on this major construction project and shared these (gift vouchers) with our team on site".
