SHEQ ManagerWe employ a full time CMIOSH qualified SHEQ Manager who maintains the SHEQ management systems, carries out site visits and audits, develops and monitors company training plans, and continuously improves our performance in these key areas. Reporting to the main board on all aspects of safety, health, environmental issues and quality performance on a weekly/monthly basis. Commercial / Project ManagementQualified surveyors provide our clients with commercially robust solutions and sound project management skills from concept to construction, including full supply chain and risk management. EstimatingOur experienced estimating department provide accurate price information together with expert engineering advice and solutions. ProcurementDedicated buyers have established excellent supply chain relationships and couple this with a sound construction knowledge to ensure that resources are procured at the most competitive rates. Information TechnologyIn house IT staff have established e-solutions for the company's data management and communications systems. All employees have personal email and individual access to the web. Excellent knowledge of hardware and software solutions allows Whitehouse Construction to embrace the technological advances of our day. Contract ManagementAn established and experienced team offer a full range of construction management skills. Our proactive team will accurately assess and schedule construction resources, minimise waste, maximise outputs, find practical solutions, reduce risks, manage public relations and ensure full compliance with specifications, good working practices and SHEQ regulations. Delivery TeamsOur experienced foremen and highly skilled operatives are fully trained certified and able to deliver any type of civil engineering scheme across the greater Midlands. Plant and EquipmentThe company owns an extensive range of plant and equipment extending to some 500 items. With our in house maintenance facilities we ensure that it is always in full safe working order and complies with relevant testing and inspection legislation. Our fleet is fully 'badged' and maintained to a high aesthetic standard that reflects well on the company and its clients, this facilitates easy identification of our operations in the public eye. Our policy of owning plant and equipment together with our stock of material allow us to offer our clients an independent, fully resourced 24/7 emergency call out service. Head OfficeThe company moved into its current office in 2001. This had been designed and purpose built in house by one of our construction teams. Situated in Blenheim Road Ashbourne, this development provides high class facilities for our staff, visitors, and clients. |
